Better than NHS ‘gold standard’ cleaning

Despite heavy investment, 1 in 12 UK patients still contract a ‘hospital superbug’ every year, costing nearly 10,000 of them their lives. But why are our hospitals not protecting us? Are they not clean enough?

Our hospitals could be MUCH cleaner

A study at Manchester Royal Infirmary shows that actually they could be cleaner. The ‘gold standard’ NHS cleaning agent bleach is being beaten hands down in trials by Byotrol. Byotrol cuts the levels of bugs and germs so reducing the risk to patients of picking up an infection.

Byotrol outperformed bleach by over 33% when tackling hospital superbug MRSA

Byotrol keeps working long after others have stopped

Byotrol not only kills and destroys bacteria, viruses and fungi instantly but when dry, it leaves an invisible force field that keeps on working, for up to 24 hour on surfaces. It’s proven against all the usual nasties and hospital superbugs. It’s not toxic so can be used in close proximity to patients without harm. At present there is no other technology in the world able to do all this. It doesn’t cost the taxpayer more either.

4,000 swabs, 1 year and Byotrol is the clear winner

A recent study swabbed 4,000 sites for a year to identify levels of bacteria present in general wards in daily use. Half used Byotrol whilst the other half used bleach. Byotrol-managed sites had consistently lower levels of bacteria, than bleach-managed sites.

"It is clear that the microbiological cleanliness attained with Byotrol was superior to bleach. One benefit is Byotrol displays residual anti-bacterial activity for more than a day after its application to inanimate surfaces unlike bleach."
